I was diagnosed with ADD at the age of nine, and I can tell you it isnt gone. People do not understand how much of a struggle it is, and make fun of ADD and what not... But it isnt only my lack of attention, but the way I am socially, and emotionally. I start things and cant seem to finish, have no interest and oh too many things, and it just isnt easy. I also have had depression (*rather severe) in the past, went on meds got better, but my mood, it's weird... i feel happy and sad at the same time, and then get WAY happy, and when it's done have thoughts about how much of an ideot I am. I can tell you, I know my mood schedual- beggining of the day, HAPPY, 3 hours later- sad, then WAY happy, then get sad around 4:00pm GURENTEED. I know the schedual, and I don't know what it is. Any ideas?

I have alot of the same moodwings my doc says I'm bipoler but as for the ADD my son is ADHD and it is hard to deal with I will agree I have found that it is easier on him if he olny dose one thing at a time. I help him keep focus and he feel good when he finish something. So even though it is hard you have to make yourself focus on one thing at a time.
