I was prescribed adderallXR and then reg. Adderall for 14 months @ 80mg split into 3 doses through out the day. I am 5'5" and 100 lbs. IT was TOOOO much for me after a while. I didn't know. It was simply too much. It DID help my ADHD symptoms however. Now I take Vyvanse and it is SO much better. Not harsh, very few side effects; maybe slight decrease appetite. but no crash, no paranoia, no apetitie elimination! it is way better, ask about it or look it up on the web. Shire, who makes adderall, also makes Vyvanse. Hope this is helpful
