I think i may have bpd. I'm going to a place soon to get help for everything I'm not sure what to expect? Do they just ask you a bunch of questions? how long does it take to figure out what the "problem" is? Is it common to use drug therapy with bpd?

Well, there are questions asked, yes. When a person goes to a new therapist or place, there can be previous medical files etc., that may follow you, especially if you signed an informed consent, which allows your MD or other T's to send their files to the doc.

Here are a couple of links:

It may take no time at all to figure out what the "problem" is, sometimes it can take a session or two, other times, it can take a while.
Drug therapy can be used, but also DBT (dialectical behavior therapy), which is discussed in the top link above.
Best wishes,
