It sounds to me like maybe you need to see a therapist, psychiatrist or MD. You can Google or Yahoo search Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, also, if you'd like to know more about the symptoms and treatment.

You probably will need to discuss this with your doctor. I definitely would not recommend talking to a therapist about it yet (Unless you have one), so you do not waste money.
I know you saying you have been doing things that are so common they have become problems...what kind of things, and how often? Daily? Hourly? Over and over at that time?
I hope this helps. But my recommendation is to first talk to a MD, unless it is so strict and so overwhelming you cannot handle it much longer.
