i take 0.5 mg a day and have had to take more than two a day to stop my panicky attacks . the Dr wont call anymore in until next week . i have been on this med for 15 years . am i in any danger if they stop it all of a sudden. please help

I have been on that one before, not nearly as long as you have, but I never suffered withdrawal symptoms from not taking it. My anti-depressant was another story though.

PLEASE do NOT stop your medication at all if you can help it.
If your Doc will not call it in for you (and I don't see why not), inform him that you are without the right amount.
Does he know you are out of it?
You wouldn't be in serious danger (if it was just a very small amount of time), but I wouldn't recommend being without it either. Contact him as soon as possible and see if something can be done.
