Hi Jude,
I think it's very good that you realize you need help - that's the first step. Are you on medication for ADD and do you receive any special learning help at school. You need to tell your parents that you want to go to the doctor. You would also benefit from talking to a school counselor. Your parents should be working with the school as well.
It is important to have healthy habits like eating well and sleepy enough. Staying up till 3:00am isn't good for you. Anxiety and panic attacks can be successfully treated with meds and sometimes behavioral therapy alone. You're right, you don't want to waste your time feeling like this and you shouldn't suffer. One tip I can give you about panic attacks is, the more you're afraid, the worse they get. It's kind of like with a bully - the more you act afraid the worse it gets. Even though panic attacks feel awful they can't hurt you. Some people feel like they're going to die, but they never do. When it happens just let it go and don't fear it. Something simple you can do is SLOW deep breathing - this will naturally slow down those feelings.
Make sure you go to your doctor (preferrably a pediatrician) and tell him/her everything that's been happening. Best of luck.

I agree. Knowing that you need help is a huge part of the battle.
Could you talk to your doctor about all of this and see what they say? That would be good.
Also, trying to find a way to get to bed earlier would not hurt. Practicing relaxation techniques are also good for you when you are anxiety ridden.
