Google up Co-dependancy.
Sounds like it to me. I suffered from this emotional illness for 30 years and had experiences similar to yours.
There is LOTS of information on the web, and lots of support groups and workshops available.
Good luck...Terry

thanks Terry, for your answer, so you are saying sounds more like codependency than bipolar? My husband says this as well, he keeps saying I need to go to an Alanon meeting or a Psychiatrist!

My pleasure..try information on Co-dependancy (on the net) first..no cost..none invasive..non addictive.I have done both A.A and the psychiatric trip.... Both have been useful resources, but the psychiatrist less so.
Check with your doctor to eliminate any physical cause. If you are in a co-dependant relationship, the person that you are co-dependant with, will be the person who gives you the LEAST encouragement to look at this issue. They have a benefit in you NOT changing..
Good luck...Terry

Some people are what some experts call "scanners" in that they like everything they see as a career but need to change it often. Not totally leaving one idea forever, but returning to it when the inkling hits them again.
You will be better able to figure out good jobs choices for you by taking any number of self inventories. You might need to have 2 part time jobs, or temporary job work, to keep you interested.
We all need to feel needed. (((hugs))) Maybe your dissatisfaction with work is keeping you from making friends to enjoy the other aspects of life with?
If you wish, you could volunteer in an area that interests you. That would satiate the need to be needed, and give you another outlet for doing.
