I am interested in quitting smoking and during my previous two attempts to quit, I went into a ultradian rapid cycle mixed state. Is there anyone out there who IS bipolar and has successfully quit smoking?

Did you quit cold turkey? If so, you may want to try a nicotine replacement method, such as the patch, gum, etc. Make sure you follow the manufacturer's guidelines to step down gradually. I have bipolar disorder and this is how I successfully quit.
