She has recently verbally attacked and accused family members of treating her badly - both in childhood (30 years ago), and currently. Has taken pain medication for a few years, stemming from a car accident injury. Has inaccurate recall of events, often repeated as justification for the accusations.

Hi there...has she been checked out about these kinds of issues with a medical doctor or a therapist?
It could have to do with medial issues...I would check that first, then if nothing is found there, check with psychological issues.
