my grandson had a baby boy out of wedlock he is now 10 months old.when the baby was less than 2 months old,the mother left the child with its father at , and he has been caring for the child since birth.the mother has bipolar.my question could the bipolar disorder be pass on!to the child.

Yes...studies show that bipolar can be partly genetics. So, yes if the mother had bipolar, or the dad did, it could be passed on. Hopefully it does not happen, but it can.
