THE DR'S SAY THAT VISUAL HALLUCINATIONS ARE GENERALLY REALATED TO SOME ORGANIC MEDICAL PROBLEM, BUT IT SEEMS LIKE SEEING THINGS ARE COMMON WITH PSYCHOSIS WITH THESE 2 DISORDERS? I'D JUST LIKE TO HEAR IT FROM PEOPLE WHO DEAL WITH IT. MY HUSBAND WAS NOT DIAGNOSED WITH A PSYCHIATRIC CONDITION, RATHER, HE WAS DISCHARGED FROM THE HOSPITAL WITH A DIAGNOSIS OF A VIRUS OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN THAT CAUSED HIS PSYCHOSIS.

Hallucinations can be caused by many things. Illegal drugs, lack of sleep, etc.
Is there any way to find out what is causing it with your doctors?
It is possible it is schizophrenia.

As someone who has been suffering with bi polar, yes, once in a while i see things, only in the corner of my eye, like i think someone is there when they are not. It only really strikes when i am over stressed, paranoid, and under rested.
It was more active when I was involved in substance abuse in my late adolescence. And its not really monsters per se, its was more whatever I was fearing the most at that very moment.
