My brother is 20 years of age i love him dearly he can be the sweetest and affectionate guy ever with a great sense of humor. But, he can also be very scary. From being a very calm mellow guy he gets irritated fast, gets angry, breaks things, comes aggresive with others, starts yelling, and even to the point he grabs something and is capable of hurting himself. He can be a bit depressed feel hopeless and isolates himself i think its so he wont hurt no one. I hate seeing him this way. I am scared he can hurt himself and at times maybe hurt me. but i know its not him when he becomes violent. its like if he was a different person. What do u think he has? a simple depression, anger management. or can it be Bipolarism?? I think he cant control it. I feel like its beyond him. N hes happy when he doesnt have these eposidos

He could be having bipolar, yes, but the important thing is, does he see a doctor of any kind?

That would be the best way to point him into a good direction. He really needs to be seen face to face by a professional, who can know for sure.

The diagnosis doesn't matter as much as him being cared for with whatever it is, bipolar or not, that he's going through. Show him that you care and offer your help.
