I am experiencing a hypomanic episode with highs and lows. Does this last for days and days or longer?

According to a recent study published in the Journal of Affective Disorders, 27–30% of hypomanias (depending on whether assessment occurred when patients were depressed or in remission) had 2–3-day duration; 72% lasted less than 4 weeks.
