I live in Alaska. Recently, I got a report card from my eight grade middle school. I had all B's and two A's. My parents decided this was completely unnacceptable. I have a brother and he's annoying, and seven years old.
My parents sent me upstairs to my room, that day. My stares at me like she hates me everytime I walk by. I'm the youngest in my class and just got moved up to gifted classes.
My parents throw bibles at me and "how to fixed trouble child books at me", but when I tell them the books say don't critize everything I don't, they smart mouth at me.
My friends are envious of my grades.
There is an online grade checker. Every other day, they see if my grades are good. If they're B's I have to study. Also, everytime I do homework, they yell because I haven't finished and cleaned up the house.
I feel like dirt because the critize so much.
My dad cusses often at me, but not my brother. One time, a teacher called my dad, saying I vandalized a book. He threatened me and I hid in the bathroom. When I hid, he said, and I quote. "I will rip you in half." Then, he opened the door with the key. I have been beaten by him before, so when he threatened me again, I charged him. He grabbed me, threw me on the ground, and hit me in the stomach. I barfed and blood came out of my mouth. He made me clean it up before my mom came home.
Do you think my parents are treating me fairly?

I'm very sorry this is happening to you. No they aren't treating you fairly - in fact your father is abusing you. It's not right to punish you for bad grades and never acceptable to physically hurt you or threaten you. When you go to school please tell your principal or school counsellor. Please tell a trusted adult or call the Kids Help Phone. This is wrong and don't be afraid to tell someone.

ya ur father shouldnt do that thats abuse and plus u have honor roll grades so i dont understand why ur father is so mad

I think the beating you so bad the blood came out of your mouth definitely shows that they are abusing you. At least your Dad.

You may need to call someone at school for help.
