I feel as though I am broken. I have no feelings. When I do feel something it is only for a moment and then it is gone. I don't get happy over anything anymore and I have no passion for life. I know this is hurting those around me inluding my 3 beautiful children but I am to he point where I just don't care anymore. I don't know what to do. I just want to run away from it all.

Hi. I can sort of relate to what you said about feeling as though you are broken. Feelings are difficult and then when they go away they are difficult. I am not a doctor or a therapist but it sounds like you may be having some depression. Depression can encompass loss of emotion as well as feelings of sadness. It sounds like you are running on empty and out of coping mechanisms. I suggest talking to someone. You could go to your Primary Care Doctor and let him/her know what is going on (could be medical) or you could seek out a therapist (who can help you with the lack of emotions). In either event, I think it is certainly essential for you to know that you are worth taking the steps to feel like yourself again and that your children are worth having a parent that is healthy physically and emotionally. Seek further help today. All my best. Junie

Hmm. Not being the most computer savy person, I wrote an answer to this and I do not know where it went so I will try again.

Well, I hope you see it through but I know from Depression there must have been so recurring pain in your life, relationshio problems, death, failure, upsets, or confusion. That's usually my problems. Do not watch anything depressing.

Get someone to take care of children who is trustable and take a vacation. Or get a long rest, always makes a person feel good. Blog more

You are depressed....find yourself a therapist!

I think it is important that you see a doctor firstly for blood work, etc. Once that is determined to be fine and all, then you can move on to a therapist.

It could be post partum depression, it could be plain depression.

You really need to seek help for yourself and your kids.

Best,

Clyde
