Hello everyone,
I'm suffering from inferiority complex since two years. Due to that, there no one I can tell 'my best friend', no girlfriend, even I feel alone all the time, in my home too.
I'm 22 yrs old, and really need to get rid of this. I even attended a seminar on this but that didn't work.
I feel fear, shy while talking with others, even with my family members. Most of time I cant express myself to them as any other persona could. Due to this I'm now somewhat in depression, anger and even anxiety. Most of the day I feel bad & nothing else, though I got second rank in a NASA competition...
Please please help me get rid of this. Your little help, motivation will help me a lot here.

You say you've suffered for 2 years - why do you think it's worse the last 2 years. Usually social anxiety and shyness appears very early in a person's life. I was painfully shy when I was younger and learned to manage it. You can use relaxation and visualization techniques and keep exposing yourself to the situations that normally make you uncomfortable. The idea is to desensitize yourself. When you start to feel the fear building take some slow deep breaths and remind yourself, that you're going to be okay. There is medication but you should try the behavioral techniques first. If you can't manage it on your own then consult a therapist. Congratulations on your NASA ranking. The whole idea is to confront your fears not retreat from them. Best of luck, Bella

Could it be low self-esteem, and not so much inferiority complex?
I mean, inferiority complex wouldnt be you trying out for NASA ranking, would it?
I agree with Bella, try the behavioral techniques first, and then see a therapist if you feel you need to do so.
Best,
Clyde
And, yes, congrats on the NASA ranking. Explain it to us more, what did you try for? I know what NASA is, just curious...
