Hi bobby,
were not therapists here, but just volunteers who enjoy helping others. If you feel your diagnosis is incorrect and your meds and other treatment are not helping, then it might be wise to seek another opinion.
Remember that therapy requires a person to do all the work with the help of a good therapist. What kinds of therapy were you undergoing for depression?

Hi
as Fpsy has said, it may be wise for you get a 2nd opinion on your diagnosis and medication
*if* you are bipolar then you would need very specific meds and it may be that the prozac is counterproductive ...but only a qualified professional could determine that after meeting with you, to evaluate your symptoms
remember, if you feel suicidal, there is a very helpful website at www.metanoia.org/suicide
hope things work out for you and that you are able to get effective treatment

Do you still talk to the therapist? If not, I would definitely recommend doing so (going back).
You may be right, none of us can know.
The website Chemar mentioned is http://www.metanoia.org/suicide
