Last week I became angry at a bank teller and then at the manager and she closed my account. So I called her today and talked to her. She said I was verbally abusive. I didn't remember what I said so I asked what it was. She said I called everybody assholes including her and that I was beyond upset.
How could I get so out of control? Today I just feel so bad about it. I thought she should have been able to de-escalate me, but that's my problem, isn't it? I am the only one who can control me, but I couldn't. Maybe I am paranoid and I see injustice where there isn't any? I don't know. I am at a loss at the moment. Of course, I don't have a therapist yet. I've only been here a couple of years. Still working on finding one. I feel like such a head case and embarassed and puzzled. God it is awful.
Yesterday, I became angry when this guy I met recently wasn't home when I wanted to return his videos and talk to him. I thought he was avoiding me, because his lights were on but he wasn't answering the door. I phoned him and he didn't return my call. Today I found out he didn't get my message til this morning and that he is on call this week at the hospital and that's where he was last night. How come I'm so paranoid?

It can have a lot to do with your upbringing, your genes, and of course, whether or not your parents have paranoia.
You may want to definitely see a therapist as soon as possible.
A good thing to do, in the meantime, would be to learn relaxation techniques. Learn and search for online, such things as breathing techniques, relaxation, and calmness.
Yoga, meditation and other things are good as well.
