I don't know if I have an eating disorder, or if it is normal part of growing up. Can you help me?
Okay, to give you a bit of a background, I've always been told I'm too skinny, but I always feel that I have weight I could lose, cause it's gross. I'm 6'2" and 155-160 pounds (female).
I used to work out on a daily basis. I constantly am eating, mostly junk food though (like cookies, fruit snacks, etc). People say I eat a lot, and yet they say I am "super skinny". People make fun of me for eating so much, so I feel like I’m fat. Even my best friend calls me a fat a**!
On the other hand, there are times where I just don't eat. My stomach hurts and "gurgles", but I ignore it and just don't eat. I have fainted before, but I think it was because I stood up too fast. Right now, I am hungry, and I have been for the past....6 hours...but I haven't eaten a single crumb for 10 hours. I'll constantly look in the fridge and then close it. I keep myself pre-occupied so I don't think about being hungry. Sometimes when I wake up in the morning it feels like I haven't eaten for a week; and my stomach hurts so bad that I literally double over in pain.
I don’t know if what I do is normal, or if I have an eating disorder. I’m so sick of people telling me I’m skinny, because I’m not. I have fat everywhere on my body! My BMI is 21! Meaning I have fat!
What do you think? Your opinion(s) are greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Everyone has fat, my friend...seriously. Everyone may not have the same kind of degree, but EVERYONE does have fat.
Yes, it does sound like some kind of eating disorder--I would definitely consult with a therapist or medical doctor as soon as possible.
You do not seem to be literally fat, but you think you are in your brain and mind...please seek help so you can get the help you need.
Hugs,
Clyde

I hope you are still reading here... my answer comes a bit delayed for you.
You may have a different type of metabolism than what you think of as the "AVERAGE" person. Don't allow others to decide how much food to eat, but eat at least 3 meals a day and nutritious snacks too, if you want. No, you don't weigh too much at all. Maybe they are insecure in their own ways and really don't know how to support you in your issue about weight?
Many people are slim build and weight for a long time. I know of several who even the military had "trouble" bulking them up, because of the natural tendency of their bodies.
The main thing is to try and eat healthy foods, and often, don't skip meals. If you find you just can't do it, then yes, seek counseling and try to adjust your thinking as well and as soon as you can.
