I would like to know how many women (or men) have had problems with "weird" landlords? Specifically ones who repeatedly in the past were sexually explicit, and harassing? Now the problem seems to be a mixture of "nit picking and finding all sorts of excuses to be in the area or right next door. He lives on the opposite side of town, is married, and is quite a bit older than I. I am a celibate, saved, Christian female who has never had any inappropriate relationship with this man. I have refused him on more occasions than I can count,Now my daughter is with me more and he doesn't get the chance to "flirt" or harass the same anymore but he has recently threatened to cause me to have to move. I know that it is really because I would never "give in". He also was suggested that my daughter "date" last year. I told him that my daughter does not wish to date at the moment ,(she wants to finish college) and it is our business how we conduct our family religious or otherwise values, beliefs, and decisions. I used to be a counseling assistant and One of my college studies is in psychology so I do realize that when a man shows any symptoms of unhealthy attachment, stalking, or
obsessive behaviors it could be a very negative sigh, but it could also be that he is harmless and is just being a "jerk". I currently also do not have a boyfriend close by where I reside and the landlord very well knows this. He is also an ex football player and star high school coach, which means that he is probably a very com petite , person with some aggressive
tendencies and is also used to winning. Also to note I am multiracial, and multi-ethnic and he is white. My ex husband and ex common law husband were also white. The landlord had mentioned some of that situation to me in the past, and I believe that it has some relevancy. Another thing about this guy's background is that several of now ex- neighbors have told me that they have sexual relationships with him for monetary reasons in the past. one of my ex neighbors was a call girl, and a hooker. She dreamed of being a "star" but had a drug problem instead. I have told this man that I am not that kind of "girl" but i believe that it is an ego driven thing. My mother always said that sometimes some men want what they cant have.
