I am so depressed, and there a lot of questions from people as to what is going on with me. I have been totally zoned out. It's like I am there but don't know what is going on around me. Maybe it's dissociation, but really don't know. I feel as if I am floating about my body, but don't know what people are saying and what's going around me.

(((Jennifer))) Depression can make us so disconnected to our life that we don't have a life. You need expert help with this, so you can have a life of enjoyment. Talking to someone who can guide you into proper processing of life events and learning to respond to them healthily is a must. Learning to change your thinking about yourself, and your role in this world will show you another life of your own, that you will want to live.
Please get help.

Hi Jennifer,
Have you checked things out with a therapist or a family friend/member or someone who can help you out?
It could be both DID and depression, or it could be neither.
Its best to find out, so you can get it taken care of right away.
Sorry I dont have much to says to this. But try getting into things you enjoy, or try out osme new activites and find some hobbies that might make you connect with something. Excercising (expecially Yoga) helps with depression anxiety and stress so maybe you could try some of this too.
If not I think you should go to someone you really trust a friend/a family member/religous leader/or even a counsler to tell them about your problems. There are many people who will support you out there, just stay strong and youll get through it, I know people who have.
