Hi kanahthe1st. Dream interpretation is highly subjective and very personal. I can give you suggestions, and hopefully they will trigger something inside you that helps you figure it out.

You could have both watched a very gruesome movie that caused this. Or you could be feeling like you are being pushed into something that you don't want to do. It could be that you bff is a self harmer, and you want to know what it feels like, or the bff is urging you to try self harm yourself. It could be just a violent response to wanting to do or not do what everyone else is doing.

Good wishes on this

Hi kanahthe1st. I agree with drjean that dream interpretation is personal and subjective. In my own experience, dreams come to tell me about things that are going on in my life right now, and often the people I dream about are reflecting something that's actually going on inside of me, rather than being about them. If this were my dream, I would think about what my bff is like -- what kind of personality or traits or characteristics this person has. Then I would wonder if there was a part of me like that other person (especially because in the last part of the dream I am "standing in front of a mirror"). What does my bff "mirror" to me? Once I had a sense of what that was, I would wonder if that was a part of myself I wanted to kill or to cut out -- like a part of my personality that I either don't like about myself or maybe even don't see at all.

It can be lots of things--bad dreams, actual feelings from the days events--many things.

Journal your dreams and research dreams and find out more.

Best,

Clyde
