This is sort of a difficult question without the specific thing I'm talking about but if something was bothering you and your heart was telling you to tell but your mind was telling you not to because of what could happen. Would you follow your heart or your mind?

My heart. Of course, I would be careful, depending on what the outcome could be...but if you could find a safe place and not worry about that other person getting to you--I would get out of it as soon as possible.

I agree with Clyde. If something is bothering you deeply and you know you need to talk about it then you should. Holding stuff inside that needs to be released is like shaking a soda with the cap on....it causes massive buildup of pressure and can explode! Take care of yourself and tell someone.

This is kind of a vague question but I think you should follow your heart and be truthful.
