My therapist is recommending hospitalization to treat my BPD. I went to a hospital in California that was for Trauma, so I was in there with other depressives and lots of DIDs. (My insurance suddenly stopped paying, so I had to leave after only a week.) Are there hospitals that just specialize in BPD? How do I find them?

Not that I know of. Maybe you can talk with your therapist about other treatment options?

I googled psych hospitals that deal with borderline personality disorders and this is what came up under one of the sites. Worth checking out I guess...

McLean Hospital

115 Mill St

Belmont MA 02478

617-855-2000

All my best, Junie

Unless you meant Bi-polar disorder in which case disregard the above. There are a lot of things that have the same acronyms sometimes. Junie

Call the hospital where you were at and ask them if they have any referrals to a BPD hospital. Same with all the therapists you have seen.

Best,

Clyde
