I find that I am not able to get comfortable with people, and that I really enjoy my solitude. Is there a problem with me? I cannot say I am an introvert, but am not an extrovert either.

I think it depends on why it is that you can't get comfortable around others, and to what extent it bothers you (and why you enjoy your solitude--is it because it gives you a chance to reflect, or because you don't have to be around others for example?)
One way of conceptualizing it would be to say that was someone who can't deal with other people but wants to might get diagnosed with social phobia (or social anxiety disorder) but someone who doesn't *care* that they don't get along with others would be more like a schizoid PD.
