This person has always been super hyper,But when i hung out with her more i also realized she would get very upset. You cant resin with her, when upset. She starts crying yelling and once, recently hyperventilating so she had to take her inhaler.I feel like i cant resin with her like a normal person.weve been friend for a year and this always happens. She had extreme mood swings. She will be very happy then get very mad and upset for two or three days then back to happy/hyper.Its hard to handle but we all love her and she is are best friend so we all ways will, we just want the best for her.
p.s we are in are very early teens

Lisa, it's best to have a doctor diagnose your friend. Encourage her, and maybe go with her, to her medical doctor to get help. I'm sure she isn't happy with the way she feels, probably out of control and would welcome help. There are many medications to help with bipolar disorder, should that be from what she suffers, but it will take time to find the right dose and combination for your friend.
Don't allow her to abuse you though. That part of the mood swing can be very violent in some people. Make a stand and tell her that you can't be her friend if she doesn't begin to try and balance her moods with expert help.
Take care

Hi Lisa,
Extreme mood swings are definitely considered a hallmark of bipolar. Happy (manic)one minute, and then crashed (depressed) the next.
Here is a link to check about bipolar--see how many of these you feel she "fits" into...
