hey there i have been trying to find something i can take for my aggression or irritability which leads to ridiculous behaviour. I am easily proved, i lash out verbally and when i am doing this i truely believe it is everyone else who is bitchy and not me...help i am on effexor and lamotrine ....my doc makes me do the research so any suggestions would be great thanks....

Hi SJ,

I dont know how much I agree with a doctor that has you do the research for him as it pertains to how the medicine will interact with you. I do know it is a good thing to be informed about what you would be taking and what is going on, yet I wonder how much stuff he wants you to research.

Some medicines may actually have a side effect of aggressive behaviors, have you checked all your medicine's side-effects yet?

hey clyde thanks for the reply i was starting to get a little disappointed there. I am on effexor Rx and lamotgrine, i have not personally seen that written as a side effect anywhere. I have been stuck in a "hypomania"

phase i guess where for the last two and a half months i have been extremely aggravated and ridiculously irritated for no apparent reasons that would justify my out burst.
