stuck in depression now 4 month new DR. lexapro for 2 months still taking prozac 60mgs.daily or Id be off a bridge . This month was ADD-meds DIDN T help at all called for an early appointment no luck ! Any suggestions?
I'm sorry to hear about this. Have you been experiencing depression for longer or before these past four months? I don't know too much about medication, but I have suffered depression along with suicidal tendencies. The only thing that kept me going is realizing that getting better takes time, and there isn't just an overnight cure. Which sucks to the extreme. Especially with medication, there's a lot of upping or downing doses to find the right combination, which takes even longer.
Are you seeing a doctor more than once a month? If you're not, you should look into counseling weekly (or even more frequently), and find a place you can contact someone without delay (sometimes community mental health centers do this). Good luck to you, and stay strong!

Sorry to hear that you cannot get much help with the new doc. You might need to inform them how serious this case is to you, and that you really need to see him right away.
You can also check with community centers, or your local hospital and let them know what you are experiencing.
