Hi,
i just broke up with my boyfriend about a month ago. i have also stop all communication with him through out that time. yesterday i got a call from him. i was very surprised and shocked. he asked me out for breakfast. he also invited me out this weekend for a trip to a theme park. im so excited. i have read your book the magic of making up. i have been doing everything that it says. i really want my ex back.

one reason that he told me he wanted to break up is that i have not been taking care of the way i look and my dressing. i have changed my ways and today for breakfast i even put on some makeup because he likes seeing me wearing makeup. however, i felt like he did not notice any of it. he walked so far away from me when we wanted to cross the road. i don't know if its a good sign or not. I'm really confused!!

I hope things work out for the 2 of you if it is meant to be.

I would think the most important thing would just try to relax when you are with him and be as much of the person he first fell in love with as is possible for you.

Dont make him feel stressed or pressured or cornered into deciding on where your relationship may be going...just enjoy being his friend and having a good time together.

If I may ask, why werent you taking care of yourself? Sometimes when we neglect ourselves, there can be other things going on with us, sometimes physical and sometimes emotional. It may be a good idea to maybe see your doctor for a physical checkup and some bloodwork just to be sure you dont have any hormones out of balance or other things that need extra care. If maybe you have been going thru more emotional or mental health stuff, then it would be good to work through that too with a doc or therapist.

hope you manage to just take it easy when you are with your ex this weekend and have a wonderful time together.

Heck, I dont mean this malicious, but he is confusing me just reading your post.

Why would he want you back and then act like he couldnt be around you and then NOT notice the most important thing that he likes you wearing?

I would watch this one, but that doesnt mean completely stay away either. Just dont get all entangled in this, if you can, and hopefully your heart will stay unbroken.
