I find that it is very difficult for my Uncle who has schizophrenia to differentiate between who he is and who I am; its as if he thinks he is me to some degree. He often has conversations with himself and claims that he is talking to me. I don't know maybe I am missing something here. Am I?

I don't see you missing anything necessarily--it is just a big part of his schizophrenia.

I mean, you probably look like him some, and he has Schizophrenia, which of course, is a horrible illness to have.

What does his therapist or pdoc say about all of it? Have you discussed it with them or him in his more lucid moments?
