Hi haunted. You posted under schizophrenia, is that because you have been diagnosed with this disorder, or because you feel like you belong there?
Hearing voices inside your head is not often schizophrenia, btw. Oft times in great stress people can "talk" to themselves, and even give conflicting advice or wants, adding to the confusion. (((hugs)))
I also believe we all have a purpose, but that it isn't something that comes on a label with us when we are born. Finding out the reason for our life is part of the journey, it's part of the learning what we need for when we do find out! :) It can be quite frustrating to think we are going nowhere, and nothing is happening with us that is good.
How long have you honestly felt this way? What kinds of events are now going on in your life that may have made you feel worse? Can you adjust those activities, or is there an end in sight to them (such as a long break from school that will soon end?) We tend to be short sighted in times of stress and distress.
Talk to us some more ok?

Hi Blue Eyes,
I can understand that you feel that no one cares--because it does sound like you have been dealing with depression, and perhaps schizophrenia--you mention voices.
Why do you feel that you have no purpose? I think that everyone does have a purpose, even if they don't know so at that time.
Have you checked with a therapist or doctor and told them what you told us?
