Since I fancied this girl I havnt been able to sleep I used to stay awake thinking about her but now that I don't fancie her I can't sleep I stay awake until about 2 in the morning everyday what's wrong why can't I sleep

well....maybe you should try occupying your mind with something else....try music...something soft and soothing...it will help you focus. Btw...the more you focus on sleeping, the harder it is to sleep when you know that you can't sleep....so don't try to fall asleep....just let it happen...easier said than done i know....that's where the music comes in...it will distract you....why's you stop liking her though?....maybe that has soemthing to do with why u can't sleep.

Find ways to relax. Take a hot bubble bath, read, exercise.
When you get ready for bed, use the bedroom only to sleep. Make sure there are no lights that can keep you awake. That music idea is not so bad, either.

It's doesn't take much to ruin a good sleep pattern - our bodies work best when you're on a regular routine. If you change your sleeping time, this can upset your routine. Go to bed and wake up, the same time everyday. Limit caffeine from all beverages. Try not to watch TV, play video games or go on the computer just before bedtime - instead take up reading as Clyde suggested. While lying in bed, you can also do deep slow breathing exercises while relaxing different body parts. Exercise during the day but not too close to bedtime because this will stimulate you. When you can't sleep, try not to worry about it, as this can make the problem worse. Best of luck.
