I went to a psychologist due to depression. After an evaluation she told me it was likely to be bipolar 2 disorder since I've had manic symptoms before. Can the high be a persistent high for like 6 months and then it be at a extreme low for a year and then high for 3 months and depressed for 5 and so on and so forth? My daughter basically self diagnosed and the various phych. Dr.s seem okay with that and whatever she chooses to do as far as meds. I am not convinced she has bi-polar though she, at times, seems to show a few of the symptoms.
