Lately my search has been mainly focused on finding someone just to talk to. Someone who has true understanding and experience with infantilism and families. This in it’s self has been a challenge. My 16 year old daughter is bipolar and has been on meds for several years now, with some tweaking the meds have for the most part worked very well to stabilize her moods. 6 months ago my therapist of 9 yrs. sent me an email saying that she was retiring and her last day would be in one week. I was devastated and felt abandoned.
