Hi all,I am just curious as to what age you consider (roughly) middle age to start?I of course, am either there, or getting there, and have been reading up on it.Some places say 30 on up, others 35, others 40--what is your thoughts on it and the middle age dilemma itself?

1 Vote(s)

I have a friend who is hitting his head with his fists--not too much, but probably 3-5 times period in his whole life time. The episodes probably have happened mostly in the last 6-7 months. He hits his head over and over about 6 times, 3 times each fist, but he says it isn't that hard, just enough to bounce off his head.Could it be possible that he is just hitting his head with his fists just out of habit, not as a head banging issue?

1 Vote(s)

I have had dreams lately which are like nightmares, but I wouldn't call them that. They are not entirely enough to make me horrified in the dream, but they do scare me a lot in the dream. Like last night, for example, I dreamt that I was in an old house with my family, trying to escape from ghosts and demons. We would get away from them (not seeing them really, just seeing after-effects of them being there), but then more would come up. The dreams are all kind of in that vein, scary, yet not super intensive.I do not lose sleep or anything from them, except for the few seconds/minutes waking up from them. Does anyone else have dreams like these as an adult, and does anyone have any idea what these could mean? ;)Thanks...

1 Vote(s)

Hi all! Does anyone know of any resources other than a "bright light" for the Seasonal Affective Disorder? I do not suffer from it too much, especially near the beginning of the winter season. However; when it gets to be around late January or early February and it is cold and dark and snowy--I get a bit more depressed. What are some effective treatments you have used, if any? Thanks!!!

2 Vote(s)
