Ever since I was in high School Ive been having what I call "breakdowns" because I dont know what else to call them. They ususally happen when Im under alot of stress or there is too much going on around me- but I usually find myself having a panic attack before I have one. If I dont get out of the situation, I'll go into what I call a "breakdown". When I have one, the room feels like its spinning, everything looks blurry, and I see sparkly things flying in the air (kind of like someone was shaking glitter and its falling everywhere). When someone talks to me it sounds very loud and everything feels like its in slow motion. Its very scary and it feels like my brains shutting down when it happens. After I have one I sit and stare and I cant really function that well, because I feel like my mind feels like mush.I dont know what this would be called or what it is. Im scared to talk to a doctor about it because Im scared theyre going to think Im crazy. I dont want to be highly medicated. I had to quit my job in the past month because of both the panic attacks and the "breakdowns," because they were happening on shift and at home as well.I know that it was genetic... my birth mother used to get the same things.. but she was never properly diagnosed. I was adopted and she sealed her records before she committed suicide back in 2001, so I have no real way of finding out if she ever was diagnosed as well. The way I know she had the same problem is that my adoptive family took her in after she had me, and took her to a local crisis unit to get her help. I do believe either Bipolar or borderline personality runs in my family- because Ive been diagnosed with both and I act exactly like my mother.Also- recently I found my biological sister- shes 4 years younger than me, and she has autism. I looked autism up online, I feel Im too outgoing to be it- but Im not really sure. I do know that it ran on my mothers side, I found out from her family. If anyone could help me if they know anything or have heard anything like this, please contact me back on here or email me at ManicLN187@aol.com Thank you

1 Vote(s)
